Now for Mr. El Cheapo to keep up with the times. All that money he makes playing football and not spending it. As my parents told me, quote:“Don’t think too much of your money to spend”.

He can find a nice cheap used truck if he really doesn’t want to spend the money on new. But I bet that once he sees what new trucks can do, he’ll be hooked.

If you are rooting around in the Passyunk junkyards, the Simeon Foundation race car museum is there and totally worth the visit!

I don’t blame the man for not wanting his wife to have to root around in the junkyard

A giant like Marcus is going to need something like a Peterbuilt truck cab so he can fit in it.

Honestly, I would be pissed if I were Marcus right now. Don’t respect my decision? Fine. Don’t respect me? Aw, H€LL no! And a sneaky, manipulative stunt like that is NOT respectful. When Marcus takes advantage of family or friends, just to save money, then HE is not being honest or respectful and deserves to have his rear-end nailed to the wall. But Charlene does NOT seem like she’s feeling taken advantage of, not in the least. I think “penny pinching”, WITHOUT harming others, is very respectable. Later in life it may earn Marcus a different title – “not destitute”!

Old vehicles that work and are safe should be kept running. I am attached to my 1999 Tahoe with over 300,300 miles. It runs well and I know its “tricks and quirks” and have my maintenances worked out. Has it been mentioned that maybe Marcus supports charities with money that others piss away on baubles ?

I kept my last car for 30 years. Run ‘em til they drop, I say. Marcus knows that NFL careers can be short so he’s saving his money for retirement.
