Hey, that lady works at my bank. I can think of two times I had a problem with my bank, and it did not turn out this way. Where I bank has a policy if money is in to cover a deficit by 11:00 PM, you’re ok the following day. They gave back a bounced check fee, even though I got the money in by 11:10. The other time an ATM at one of the banks ate a $20.00 bill, and they credited my account for it immediately.
Years ago my husband and I had a problem with a bank that became a Chase bank. They had a policy that all debits were subtracted from your balance and overdraft fees assessed accordingly (increasing your deficit) and THEN deposits were added in. We went in, made a stink, got the fees reversed and our balance adjusted; shortly after that they were hit by a huge class action suit, which they lost.
