I hear you. I spent 5 quarters to get throuigh 3 classes of calculus. Now retired from engineering, but in my working lifetime used calculus ONCE - for a home project! A summary of higher math - one has to derive more and more answers from less and less knowns. Ie, Arithmetic, Mathematics, Algebra. calculus, statistics etc each expects more answers from less inputs.
Back in the olden days before “General Studies”, English was the closest thing I found to not majoring in anything. At least the electives were informative (radio/tv/motion pictures, astronomy, music appreciation, German). Started out intending to be a geochemist, but college calculus did not compute. Ended up retiring from IRS after working as a collector, and later an error solver. You just don’t never know.

Then again, sometimes you learn a new language only to find out that you have nothing to say….

As long as you’re keeping your brain active, it’s a good thing.

Good points, and we do need to remember that she married John before she finished her degree, and like a good “wifey” she has not yet finished it….

Join 98% of all college grads, not knowing what they are doing with their degree. Too many wind up in fast food or Wall Mart.
Frame one & three: Ellie always looks prettier when she is smiling, which isn’t often enough.

No one knows what to do with their education. I, at least, have an idea.

Doesn’t matter why you’re doing it. If nothing else, you’re doing it for yourself, because it matters to you!
