You’re way too picky Ellie, one flaw in an otherwise perfect woman! Like Sedine and her…well even without a character limit that might wind up being a long list…XD
I wonder how she meets these men, does her mother still set her up or do these guys line up outside of her house? Maybe Sedine can set her up with an old flame of her own, assuming some exist.
There’s a line in the 1985 New Zealand Post-Apocalyptic SF film, ”The Quiet Earth,” about how people decide within the first thirty seconds of meeting each other whether they like someone or not, and everything past that is merely rationalizing the initial decision. ✨
There’s a long, long story associated with that film and the memories it evokes for me, but I’ll leave y’all with a link to the trailer for today rather than go into it …
This woman might be pretty, but I have seen ‘rocks’ with more intelligence. She says it is her favorite song and SHE doesn’t know what kind of music it is? Wow.
Reminds of this business owner that had a blonde working for him and she always had headphones on. No matter where he saw her, she had them on. Once day he came behind her and ripped them off. She died. He put the headphones to his ears and it said, “Breath in, Breath out.”
“So let’s leave it alone. / ‘cause we can’t see eye to eye. / There ain’t no good guy, / there ain’t no bad guy. / There’s only you and me and we just disagree. / Ooh ooh ooh, oh oh oh!” Country or Pop?
I dated a lady who liked classical and opera. She wanted me to accompany her to concerts and such, but insisted I pay my way. When it came time for jazz, she refused to go, even if I offered to pay the way. About two weeks after we broke up my ship came in and she lost her job and later her home. Karma will get you in the end.

Country, Pop, and Folk: three genres that will get their fans ANGRY at you if they’re confused.

I hear that’s how Donny and Marie broke up, too – he was a little bit rock and roll.

I kinda want to gather together all of the final panels of the “Ellie’s Dates” strips into a “Misery Loves Company” Collection. ✨

Jerry Seinfeld’s reasons for breaking up with women may have influenced Ellie.

They must be listening to Taylor Swift from her transition from country to pop.
