By the way, today I finally remembered to read The Cardinal over at Comics Sherpa, where Walt Wallet is chauffering some old comic strip/comic book characters (The original Daredevil, Wash Tubbs, Captain Easy, Smiling Jack, and Joe Palooka) back to the retirement home for old comics characters, as frequently shown in this strip!
This really takes me back. I haven’t heard the term “water on the knee” since I was a kid. I’m not even sure what ailment it referred to. I seem to remember it was something athletes got.
