I’ll keep reading this strip, but I don’t like this new storyline at all! I hope it gets better or Corey move on to another storyline! I’ve been reading this strip for a long time, so I am a long time fan!
I love this new storyline. Got to feel bad for Corey trying to replace his strikers, but he is trying to keep us entertained until he works things out with them.
The thing I enjoy the most about Barkeater Lake is its unending surrealism. The stranger it gets, the more I seem to like it.
What that says about me*, I’ll never know. *rolleyes
I’m with drystyha, here. I, too, am a long-time BL fan (since about the third week of its existance, and while the current storyline is moderately amusing, it sure isn’t the Barkeater Lake I used to like so much. Not that it has to be - it’s Corey’s perogative to make whatever changes he likes - but I don’t have to like those changes as much as the old strip, either.
Yeah, Corey promises on his home website to do BL three times a week, for sure, then breaks his promise the very first week. When long-time readers (and merchandise and book buyers) call him on it, he shuts off comments. Slacker.

An amateur character who thinks he belongs in the professional ranks. Threaten him with a club and he still will ad lib.
