I stopped to allow an old lady parallel-park her ’75 Pontiac Land Yacht in the middle of downtown Black Friday traffic. She did just that. I gave her the Thumbs Up sign as I drove around her.
I’m reminded of the two old dears who ran a red light, clipped three other cars, then drove through the front of some guy’s house, in Sarasota, Fl.
The driver was 92 years old and driving her girlfriend’s car because her friend, (age 94) had misplaced her driver’s license, and didn’t want to drive without it !
Of course, there was no insurance on the car and the old lady driving had a license that had expired two years earlier !
Thankfully, no one was injured. The two elderly ladies walked away from the carnage, unscathed.
