I never understood, why vultures are considered bad animals, while eagles and lions are considered noble. The vulture is eating the dead and therefore playing an important role in the ecologic system, while eagles or lions are killing the living (and not only the weak and ill, as is often stated), so they are real murderers. Why this disgust for vultures? Is it, because they are ugly? BTW, also the eagle and the lion often eat dead corpses, and many vultures also go for living prey, at least sometimes. There is not much real difference, except for their appearance.

If God didn’t want us to eat nuns, he wouldn’t have made us able to fire these AK-47s.
