@HKYNT1: Louie and the mice like to watch food baking in the oven (to the point of getting tickets for the big show). I think the thump was Louie jumping down and stalking off in disgust at the announcement that the “star” (ground beef) had been replaced by an understudy. Along the way he gave his ticket to a less demanding patron.
