In a past job, i had to service & replace the lighting fixtures in a local fancy steakhouse’s kitchen. When i opened the fixtures up, i was appalled by the evidence of a massive cockroach infestation. i never ate at that restaurant again.
In fact, i don’t believe i ever did work in a restaurant kitchen that didn’t have evidence of roaches, especially inside electrical recptacles and light fixtures. Electrical conduits are a cockroach highway system.

Funny. If I saw evidence of mice in a restaurant, I’d be gone so fast, my sonic boom would shatter glass.

Ah, the old “trope” of a mouse hole in the baseboard being a clean-cut arch… ;-)

I’m thinking now it might have been more amusing to me if they’d just looked down and seen the signs already on the mouse holes in the wainscoting.
