It would be ok if her face were not drawn in such an angry way. I don’t remember her being such a pissy kid when I read this strip as a child. But maybe my memory fails me….

Wow! Look at Nancy’s face in the last panel – she is going all Hyde on them!

Charles Schultz was right to have Peanuts end with his passing. Calvin & Hobbes, and Dinette Set, were also ended when the original artists decided they’d run dry of ideas. From what I’ve seen of the new Nancy strips, they stink compared to the old ones. I do have to say that whoever is drawing the new Blondie comic strips is in fact doing a very good job of both the artwork and the theme of the humor.

Reading these have helped me to like the updated version of Nancy even more. Nuance isn’t what most people expect from a comic strip.
