October 7th, 1950, the last game of the 47th world series and the Yankees take out the Phillies 5 to 2.
It was the 13th win for the Yankees who took out the Phillies in a 4 game sweep!
I remember school days during recess and the baseball season, there would be male kids predominately trading Baseball Cards, and/or playing catch with mitts. But there were no pipeline elbows to practice pitching with.
Nice rock concert in the 3rd panel of this beautifully surreal strip.

Lot more than three rocks, there. Why would anyone leave an elbowed section of pipe in the middle of a field like that?

He can throw a 180-degree curve, too. Just look at the first panel.
