I’m guessing these are not meant to be taken seriously. Newton’s “invention” of the cat flap is unconfirmed and considered an urban legend. Cat urine is not unique in glowing under a black light; most mammals’ urine does. And I think the whole walking thing is fairly made-up. I watched videos of all the animals claimed to walk differently, and ones that don’t, and they all walk rear left/front left/rear right/front right.
And in my experience, my cat is pretty lousy at describing anything. Much as, apparently, much of the internet is at vetting actual facts.
A long time ago, when the whole world was stoned, every guy could buy a black light at a head shop so his posters would look awesome. All it would take is one unclean litter box for a cat to show its disapproval all over the floor when the black light was on.
I heard a different version of the Sir Isaac Newton cat door. He had taken the door off in his dorm room or whatever, and sawed a hole in the bottom of the door for his cat to go through. When his cat had kittens, someone fool asked him how the kittens were supposed to get through the door. So, he took the door off again and sawed a smaller hole in it for the kittens to go through.

Um…Darby? They do not. Elephants walk that way, not cats. Don’t you have any to observe??

Fun cat fact: a cat is a twelve-legged creature. If you don’t believe me, try lowering one slowly into a bucket.

I bet I know what weirdo figured that out. Cliff Clavin, or someone just like him.

No, Cliff didn’t figure it out, but he certainly knew all the facts about it!

WTF? I walk that way…wait; let me check. And exactly HOW does one get a cat to pee on a black light? Mine prefers my pillow.

Elephants only move one leg at a time. You want to talk about seasick…
