I really wish I could have a real tree to decorate. Unfortunately, I am very allergic to the sap of all evergreens. They make me sneeze and cough all season long, and if I even get a tiny little scratch from one of their needles, I break out in a really bad rash all over that’s similar to poison ivy. :(

A long-needled tree makes it hard to hang ornaments, and even harder to take them off once the tree dries out and they’ve turned into real needles.
