I remember “Seymour”. He had an awful lot of bandages on his fingers.
We got new phones yesterday. We went with T-Mobile. They have a special for seniors – unlimited data for $70 per month for the two of us. We did upgrade the speed (T-Mobile is rated highest for speed) so it is $95 per month, but that is still around half of what we were paying Verizon.
Our two cats seem to be getting along very well. I was eating some ice cream last night and offered Pinto a bit. Buddy came up and helped himself, and they shared the spoon. Neither one even twitched an ear at the other with their faces less than an inch apart. Buddy still hasn’t had another “accident”, and we’re optimistic that adding the second litter box solved the problem.
Not much happening today beyond setting up our “patio”. We had some bad winds the past few days, so now that it is calm we can put out the mats and chairs. I do need to get to the bank this morning, but since that’s about 2 blocks away I think I can handle it.
I know 18 isn’t very cold, but I had a chance to go out for a mere second, and was VERY glad I’m retired!
Nothing new going on today. Too icy to go anywhere, so I’ll just continue my Spring Cleaning project. I’m making headway, but I keep seeing other things that need attention, too. As long as I pace myself, my back doesn’t object.
Glad to hear Buddy has figured things out. I’m sure it’s hard being the new Kid on the block.
Just a quiet day here in Mid-MO. The day started out at about 30 and it is now 49 with an expected high of 55. A truly beautiful sunny day.
Rita, it’s hard to get into spring cleaning done when your back sends you to a chair every 10-15 minutes. My lower kitchen cabinets need a good cleaning out and I have been putting it off. I hate the constant interruptions once I start a project. Ahh growing older ain’t for the wimpy!! ;)
Nice sunny, windy day with temp at 50.Except for going to church at 4 pm, it’s a good day to stay in doors. Tomorrow only slightly cooler.
Right now I am having a problem with my right shoulder. It’s been killing me for the past few days and restricting the use of my right arm. It’s a good thing I’m a lefty even though I use my right hand for a lot of things. It may be my Pseudo Gout acting up.
Glad you all are enjoying your cats. We had one for 14 years but then had to put her down as she had cancer and was suffering. They are nice to have around but can be a pain at times. We decided not to get another one as we were not at home a lot and would have had to get some to look after it.
It got down to 28 during the night, and we can look forward to 40’s again. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the high 40’s. Yahoo!
We’ve been watching the Thin Man series. Last night was “The Thin Man Goes Home”. I think this one is my favorite. Only one more to go. I enjoy a good laugh.
Not too bad a morning. Overcast with temp at 50 and no wind to speak of. Can’t believe that it’s almost Feb. although they are talking about a snowstorm on Tuesday with 2 to 4 inches.
My shoulder is feeling much better this morning. I can move it much easier with less pain. Had a decent night’s sleep. Getting old isn’t for sissies.

Howdy Vagabonds
I guess we back on track. The weather guy says windy today, decreasing this afternoon.
We got a gathering to go to this afternoon, a friend has reached the big 8-0.
We got a new dinosaur walk way in the snow, them turkey tracks sure look funny.
Almost time to feed the kitty kats, they’re eyeing me. If they could talk they’d say “feed me Seymour.”
Hay, have a dandy day all.

Good morning Vagabonds
Windy early this morning and still blowing but lighter. The wind towers seem to be turning full speed.
Pro-bowl to day. (meh) However, next week it’s the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. Three hours of puppies playing on a gridiron carpet. :-)
May God bless your day and have fun y’all.
