I am sorry but this is no way to enter the One Hundredth year of such an iconic comic strip, I expected better from Jim who could be bringing back long lost characters and filling us in about them. That’s what I’d do, not a silly Joel and Rufus arc and repeats!
Some of us missed a lot of comics over the years (working and being sick), and many (besides Gasoline Alley) are new to me. I’m enjoying them, and feel blessed to be able to read them.
I do hope somehow he is able to continue it further as well though. That would be really fun too!!

…rerun or not…it’s always good a second or third time round….it’s done on tv all the time….seinfeld comes to mind….and i still find it funny…

I love this comic. The art, the folksy characters, the bad jokes. Even when the story arcs are a little clunky. Thank you Jim!
