This is along the lines of the cartoon where the dweeby guy is calling out the big tough guy, and the caption is something like “Unfortunately for Mortimer, he forgot he wasn’t on the Internet…”.
Bottom line: If you physically assault someone, expect to be physically assaulted. You are not justified, but that someone is fully justified and can even have you arrested, afterward.
