While chopsticks are not that difficult to master, a fork or spoon is by far a neater and easier way to eat, especially with arthritic hands. There is no reason to force yourself to eat with chopsticks if you are uncomfortable or not adept with them. There is, of course, no reason to force a fork or spoon on someone who prefers eating with chopsticks.

There is no reason to force yourself to eat with chopsticks if you are uncomfortable or not adept with them. There is, of course, no reason to force a fork or spoon on someone who prefers eating with chopsticks.
