Great drawing as always, although the comics nerd in me winces at seeing a Green Lantern (DC Comics) battling Galactus (Marvel).

I have had this one on my wall for a while. My parents don’t understand it and think it is stupid.

For whatever reason, radiation, power overload, etc. the first character went nova. It was not suicide. He didn’t hold anything back and used what time he had living, using his power to its’ limits, with no regret for how long he had to live it. So long as you know what it means to you, don’t worry that your parents do not understand. Mine never made it all the way through Star Wars and couldn’t understand why anyone would want to…

If you want to read something very unusual and gripping, take a look at Jack London’s book, The Jacket, or alternately titled, The Star Rover. It has some pretty advanced imagination for a book written in 1915. It’s available in free ePub format on Project Gutenberg.
