Can’t wait to see Cobra KA-KNOCK that smile from Vonvip’s face!

“Most people would be suspicious…” Yeah, but you certainly aren’t most people, are you? Most people have at least half a brain.

Great visuals! No, I’m serious! A window at night, curtains closed, light peeping through; A closer view of a window, curtains open, as a character looks out the window as if expecting something from outside, not engaging in eye contact with those she’s speaking to; a reprise of the original window shot. Where did Dan come up with these images as suitable for this expository sequence? But they work, creating atmosphere and an expectation that something will happen (of course, this is “Rip Haywire”, so we damn well know something will Ka-Happen!, but even so. . . ). I may quibble about shadows from time to time, but this strip is brilliant/insane!

Looks like the bad guys underestimated Cobra. We’ll see who the real imbecile is.
