What does two bills mean?

Does Mrs. Godfrey start counting when the bell rings? Also, I’m not sure but I think the two bills worth is supposed to mean a law, so maybe two rules or something?

I really think that Mrs. Godfrey isn’t really bad Shen is just very unreasonable though which really doesn’t help her. If she lightened up a little on the rules (hence this comic strip) and didn’t give detention FOR WALKING IN 5 SECONDS LATE then perhaps more students would like her more. Though she probably isn’t as bad as Nate makes her but she’s not good either. She’s somewhere in between.

Wow, Mrs. Godfrey is way too strict. No wonder Nate calls her “she who must not be named”, “Dragon Lady”, and about 10 other names.

If I had a teacher like that, I wouldn’t make it. I know they were late, but any reasonable teacher leaves the door open at least a few seconds after the bell rings! And plus, he’s five seconds late. 1 hour of detention? Come on, Godfrey!

I’m just scrolling through the comments and about three-quarters of the comments is “An hour in detention for five seconds?! Insane!”

Ok, so when I was in Kindergarten (Let that 5-6-year-old age set in a second…) I had (No joke) an ex-Russian spy as my teacher! XD I’m not making this up! KINDERGARTEN! LOL, She was totally strict and chose favorites in class. I remember some of my old friends who were on her bad side were always, ALWAYS getting corrected and having to do extra chores while her favorites (thank goodness I was one of her favorites) usually got a lighter load. Did I mention that there was a dress code? Wait Wait this dress code only applied to Thursday’s!!! I couldn’t make this up if I tried! XD Every Thursday we had to wear purple shirts and jeans because her favorite color was purple! And about the bell… In Kindergarten you have to line up when the bell rings but we didn’t need to worry about that because she would have us line up BEFORE the bell rang. She only did this for the first half of the year, I don’t know why she stopped… So anyway after that I was homeschooled. LOL

What a jerky teacher! That is SO unfair! Is Mrs. Godfrey based on a terrible teacher Mr. Peirce had as a kid?

My teacher does this. If she can see you standing outside the classroom during the national anthem, she gives you a detention for not actually being in the classroom.

she seems like someone who would give a restaurant a bad review if the waiter didn’t already have her exact order ready when she came out of her car. anyone who thinks mrs. godfrey is just misunderstood by nate, take a look at this one. she is evil.
