Before that, he got letters about ED drugs. Soon, he will be getting letters about inexpensive cremation.

Iā€™ve been bombarded not only with mail but phone calls. But I still also get the calls from someone saying they were calling because I had requested information from them or stayed at one of their hotels. None of which is true. Getting ridiculous. My mother got rid of her landline because of it.

In late 1964 when the Medicare bill was being thrashed out in committees, it finally went to a compromise committee composed of Senators and Reps of both parties. The finally put together a bill that their owners, the insurance companies, liked by simply removing one paragraph. That paragraph stated, ā€œFor every ten years this law is enacted the minimum age for Medicare eligibility shall be reduced by five years.ā€ So, in 1975 you could get Medicare when you were 60, in 1985 you could get it at age 55, in ā€˜95 you would have had to be 50, 45 in 2005, and now in 2017 you would have had to be 40. And by 2095 everyone would be covered. But the insurance companies would not be able to maintain their obscene profits and thatā€™s what itā€™s all about. Thank dog we are moving to Canada later this year.
