She could be in Scotland, where Montrose is a small town, a minor nobility (the Earl of Montrose led the Royalist army in Scotland during the civil war), and a bleeep football team.

    Also a mispronunciation of “Montrois”….

What’s all this “bleeeeeep” crâp, then? I clearly said that as Montrose paly in Scottish Division Three, they are not the best football team in the world and are therefore $hit at football. Unlike Sir James Graham, Earl of Montrose, who with a vastly outnumbered Covenanter army, kept Oliver Cromwell’s forces out of Scotland in the name of the King for several years and who was therefore a good general in a doomed but loyal cause, something Mona might feel a romanic affinity to were she ever to visit Scotland and the region that bears an interestingly French name not unlike her own, “Montrose”, the Rose Mountain.
