Well, here’s ONE mirror Marigold is unlikely to get trapped staring at.

Actually, since Equines have their eyes on the sides of their head rather than facing forward, that’s a result of Marigold having to look at it slightly from the side.

where can one find a mirror like that?

Phoebe (in the video screen) looks like one of the younger female siblings from the Nickelodeon series The Loud House.

So where’s the horn on Marigolds mirror face…or is it all of them?

I’d seen this phenomenon referenced a few times – mentioned it to some message board person with a way too high opinion of their self, who shot back that they had a perfectly symmetrical face (which if true I’ll bet was really weird).

Actually, her face is more deerlike, more tapered and triangular than the broad equine face, and the placement of her eyes is also deerlike, partly on the side and partly to the front.

Could this be what happened to LSH?

There was a 19th-century quack school of psychology based on this. Look at the left-left face and judge just from looks the character of the imaged “person”. Then do the same with the right-right face. Then assume that the real personality is formed by those two imaginary personalities continually dueling.

I suspect that it may be possible to fix up a “mirror” to do this with an appropriate arrangement of half-silvered glass and lighting, but I dare say an appropriate iPhone app could do it more easily.

Phoebe’s asymetrical face looks like a boy with a beard! :P
