the angle on that shot in panel 3 would have put the arrow in the cat’s shoulder against bone. Tarzan needed to wait until a clean shot to vital organs was available allowing him to shoot through muscle tissue and strike the heart or lungs, killing the cat.

Geez, T’Zan! While you wait for that one clear shot, poor Moxie is gonna get mauled and gnawed by that kitty, and her new(ish) bikini is gonna get shredded just like the jumpsuit she started with….
