You know, the AK in the AK-47 stands for “Automatic Kalashnikov”. We’re already influenced by them.

Now is not the time to discuss gun control. Now is the time for “thoughts and prayers”, because those thoughts and prayers have saved SO many lives!

The NRA is NOT ONLY America’s Largest Domestic Terrorist Organization, but now we find out that they are ALSO one of the bigger Launderers of Illegal Russian money for buying America’s elections! Good going Pepe LaPierre, you are now TWICE the criminal you were before!

The U.S. claims to combat terrorism and sponsors of terrorism. If.. say.. Iran was to sponsor a group to purchase guns and commit mass shootings I suspect there would be repercussions.

But..evidently it is alright for the Russians to donate (sponsor) the NRA… which seems to be just fine with policies that encourage mass shootings. I guess “Made in the US of A” terrorism is just fine.

Kind of like the fuss about whether or not the Russians influenced the election by manipulating social media.. while is seems if likes of Fox News does it.. it is fine.. perhaps even “american”

I’ve said it before, with Sandy Hook, the NRA flat out said murdering school children was perfectly OK. The battle is well and truly lost. They own America.

@CDHPC2: Providing a non sequitur is not a compelling argument. The NRA makes guns more readily available to everyone, including mass shooters. Whether the shooters are members of the NRA is a wholly irrelevant standard. The POINT here is that the NRA makes it easy, not that you have to be a member.

And bottom line: the NRA has not been willing to admit this, nor have YOU, but the real message here is that Second Amendment “fundamentalists” accept the far, far higher rate of gun deaths in this country as the price for an absolute interpretation of the Second Amendment. That is: you think 15,000 gun deaths a year is an acceptable price for the freedom to own and carry all guns everywhere. Just admit this, and then we can talk,

    cdhpc2 :

How many school shooters have been NRA members? 0 Sorry you can’t make up your own facts.

Someone claimed the school shooters were NRA members? Saaayyy, this wouldn’t be a made-up ‘fact’, would it?

@CDHPC2: The GOP Congressional NRA lap-worms openly accept NRA, and Gun manufacturer’s bribes. They block legislation and research to reduce gun violence. The gun industry is the only industry protected from lawsuits by the GOP Congress. The GOP Congress openly opposes protecting Americans from the weapons industry, and our fake president applauds them, resulting in inaction, and children dying regularly from assault weapons and guns. slate.com/news-and-politics/2017/10/fantasyland-book-exerpt-the-nra-won-the-gun-rights-debate-and-makes-america-fear-t

Pre-LaPierre and friends, the NRA wasn’t a bad outfit and really was about RIFLES and sport shooting or hunting. High capacity hand guns and “military style” weapons apealing to the empty jock set, came with them, like teflon bullets and other stuff the manufacturers, the REAL NRA, produced. For sale btw not only here, but around the world, we, and our Israeli friends (like remanufactured military equipment) have kept many of the small wars around the world supplied, for a long time.
