    I used to think it was a perception thing, the body set-point going low making the present temperature seem high. I found out how wrong that was one night when I was awaken by a searing burn where we were in contact. The heat produced was astounding.

    This is the ultimate luxury for a cat; sleeping next to their human who is radiating heat! When I am in bed with a fever, my cat really loves me.

    Being a person who is cold almost all the time I used to love them in winter. Summer in triple digit weather a bit harder to handle. For those of you that are living it, alcohol and caffeine make them more frequent and stronger. It is many years later now, I only get them if I drink more than one of hard liquor.
