Genius rarely fit social norms. I like the early stuff but the really experimental later Miles work is basically unlistenable for me. Just because you can do something doesn’t mean that you should, or that it will be very good. And I can listen to and enjoy dang near anything with the exceptions of late Miles "Modern Jazz and the Gangsta Rap “lets kill all the pigs and ho’s”
