The global market for US Treasury bonds has softened, you know. This is one quantitative measurement of trump’s debasement of our national aspirational values.

Once again, congressional Republicans show they don’t actually care about the deficit. This coming November, their voters will once again show they’re easily manipulated into not caring about it either until the Dems retake the White House.

If a trench would keep him in place and result in a cut off of phone service, it might be worth $27 billion. We could have a fundraiser and bake sale to gather the money; so there would be zero taxpayer expense. Many would be willing to contribute in the name of mental health and everybody likes cupcakes.
