    At my house, the first fly of spring is usually the last fly of last fall … the one that hid somewhere warm all winter, and got huge, whose buzzing sounds like a bee. I always like killing that first big one.

    Fun fact: spiders are hard to swat bc they see us in slow motion. That way, the fly has more time to escape.
