There are some things science can’t explain: thoughts, love, emotions …and the possibility of something greater than our finite minds. Too bad such a talented artist had to use his comic strip as a forum to insult all people of faith. Best Wishes Mr. Rosenberg.

    This strip is so unbelievable.

    Daddy’s reading a newspaper.

When people say they are struggling with their faith, it just means their reasonable and critical minds are working. They then go to the church to get more indoctrination.

I’ve long used the phrase, and I don’t know if I heard or read it somewhere, or it was just a use of some high score Scrabble words, but I’ve characterized/defined Faith as “the abdication of critical judgement”. And if God having not written but inspired the thought to write his lengthy tome, then it’s equally appropriate to say the “invisible man” (from the great George Carlin piece) inspired some very odious works as well. Must restrain myself from (a la the good period of Dennis Miller) going on a rant…
