The reason he doesn’t know, Peppermint Patty, is that you’ve asked him the same question three times, and he still has no idea what you just asked him!

I’m confused and I know what she’s talking about.

At first I thought Schulz didn’t have a real idea for this particular day’s strip. Then I realised he had a young child “explain” something to him.

Linus was messing with her, lol. I can’t believe she kept on repeating it. I think she would of repeated it 2 or 3 more times before she caught on. Bless her heart

This strip is brilliant. After the third time Linus understood the question but was wise enough to know that there is no really good answer. No matter what you do someone will get hurt. Life is suffering.
