A laminator might be normal supplies in the real world. In the classroom, it would just be a really great thing to be a able to use the copier as much as you would like to prepare lessons, instead of having to enter your number when you copy and being limited to a certain number of copies per month. It would even be nice if the PE teacher, who hasn’t used actual paper in class since September, and that was one page of rules, didn’t have the same number allotment as the English teacher whose curriculum requires the teaching of literature that is available only in books that are not in the budget. And, as long as I’m complaining, air conditioning and adequate heat would be nice too. And, a salary that after 25 years and six years of college isn’t $18k less than my nephew’s, who is a lawyer two years past his bachelor’s degree would be great.
