The racing equivalent (I race-walk 5Ks and 10Ks) is “on your left!” Except I’ve had people say it when they are almost in front of me.

Dean is going to wish he still has the ability to “sweep girls off their feet” when he gets a bit older…

My wonderful hubby is still recovering from an elementary school boy coming up fast behind him and knocking him down. Luckily, the blow to his temple only damaged his glasses, and the injury to his ribs did not break them, but he just recently finished 6 weeks of PT for the injured ankle and knee, and is finishing weaning off the pressure sock begun due to phlebitis.

Yeah, I know, it’s a cartoon, but if you have little kids or little grandkids, please, DO teach them to slow down when they approach pedestrians on their bikes.

Oh, and the boy rode off without even seeing if my hubby got up again. We figure he was scared silly.

Wrap the bike around his head. Have I said that before?
