Now THAT’S strong coffee!

Obviously Gladys sabotaged his cup. What else is she planning for him this morning? He shouldn’t have teased her so unmercifully last night — he knows that it always comes back to haunt him…but it’s always so much fun at the time.

Doncha hate it when that happens?

I’ve heard restaurants offering a bottomless cup of coffee…is this what they mean? I don’t see the attraction.

Cowboy up, Steve! You’ve got a roof over your head, pajamas that almost fit, and coffee in your, er, … kitchen. It ain’t that bad.

Well, his first mistake was wearing a red bathrobe on St. Patrick’s Day.

I heard from a reliable source that the Tiki is serving Corned Yak And Cabbage, all day for $2.53 and it comes with a complimentary shot glass of green beer!

Better hurry the place always fills up fast on this day!

Oh, Steve…I feel for you man, I do.

I thought it was in honor of the date…..

but he may have just had them mixed up.

In any case, your choice of yak or beef, with one free beer…

and green pints are 17¢.

If the corned beef or yak is green, it’s just Monkey humor…. don’t worry, it’s food coloring.

I’m on my way down there.

Meanwhile, not only is that bathrobe red…

it’s Gladys’ favorite velveteen one with fleece trim and lining.

I’d watch out, if I were Steve, and sit down very slowly ….

prepared to spring up if I felt or heard anything odd.

Or perhaps, I’d sit in Gladys’ chair, and kindly offer her my recliner.

As a good professional drinking, singing, joke telling Irishman, I usually let the amateurs take over on St. Patrick’s Day but the craic mhaith ( good times ) at the Tiki is not to be missed.

So I’ll be there to hoist a pint or two ( or three ), spin a yarn, sing a few Irish songs my mother never taught me, and if the moods upon me, dance a wee jig or a reel !

Steve, Steve, Steve, you’ve got to use Unobtainium as the vessel for Doc Toon’s World Famous Nuclear Coffee…

This was about when I switched to tea for my morning’s libation.

This struck me particularly funny because just last week I had the bottom of a glass beer mug fall out on me, leaving the full contents of an iced coffee and glass all over my living room floor !

It stunned me. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why it happened. The coffee was already cold and had been in the fridge. Weird things happen to me sometimes

Of course, I’d have been more upset if it had been a glass of beer. Still…

I once had the mug break away from the handle.

been out again, I know. MY body hates me now,. and I am not real fond of it either. Yep, I had another event this week. A couple days in hospital. I wish this crap would stop.At least I wish they could figure out how to stop it.
