Wrong comet. The “Andy Buys a Round” comet only comes around every 50 years

Chalkie & somebodyshort are both wrong! The Andy buys a round comethas never come around & probably never will!!

That comet comes so seldom that Andy has yet to see its light.

“…and the kings, led by a comet, brought in homage gold, frankincense and beer”…the same beer that Andy drinks today!!!

Our NUMBER SIX has resigned. He jumped before he was pushed.

I don’t think he was entirely happy any way. Not since GoComics in their infinite wisdom dumbed down the comments restricting what we could post. No6 was particularly imaginitive and his cartoons, pics and video links be posted here and elsewhere gave me no end of entertainment and amusement. I’m sure 99 per cent of the Andy Capp followers would agree.

However, there will always be that ‘1 per cent’…

Many of us have followed Six’s comments for about 8 years. He started out as ‘Herge’ on a similar comic site before it merged with the ‘GoComics’ we see today.

Always the gentleman he rarely allowed himself to be provoked. When he was – he was magnificent.

Couldn’t donate blood today. The nurse lost my vein and apparently they are no longer allowed to try the other arm after a failed attempt in one arm. How stupid.

Feel crap because the blood stocks are low because of the bad weather and I have no idea whether I’ll be able to donate again.

How about the “Mahoney, Goldsmith and Garnett actually make a good Andy Capp comic Comet.”

I don’t often comment on the political cartoons on GoComics (just a few), but I know for SURE that some of the people who do comment on them would have to evolve considerably in order to become rabid hyenas. Yet Number Six, a creative, intelligent, honest, and impressive soul was either banned or left?!!!!!! It makes no damn sense at all. (Kind of like a nurse who “loses” the vein of a willing donor yet won’t look around for another one……three cheers to you, Number Three! You’ve already donated quite a bit, and I’m sure you’ll be allowed to donate more. You see, in SOME spheres of influence, reason and logic prevail………..)
