I’d rather play ‘Go Fish’, too.

    GM, Terry.

Bridge sounds more complicated than it actually is. The “Deck of Playing Cards” made the Toy museum Hall of Fame this year. Cards beat a hand-held video game anytime.

A lot of people think bridge is a game for old maids, but I have a couple of guy friends who earned all their drinking money in college by playing penny-a-point bridge.

Believe me, you can’t play a casual bridge game with those guys. They are ruthless.

When Men are good bridge players, they are VERY, VERY, good but in my couples group, there are 2 men whom I dread having as a partner….but I tell myself, “it’s just a game”

Generally, bridge can make you a better card player in other games, like Pinochle, hearts etc. Not sure why.

It keeps you thinking, that’s for sure. I can’t play it though. I have a terrible memory and hate numbers.

    I prefer Scrabble.

I’ve never liked a game that requires a partner – too much pressure! Even so, I played a lot of Euchre in high school…
