Sigh… I had a metallic blue bicycle with a banana seat (no sissy bar). I threw a fit in the bicycle shop because my parents wanted to get me another (boring) bike and I only wanted a banana seat. I loved that bike.

Gold metallic girls Playgirl bicycle. Fell down so many times learning to ride that thing. Can see it glittering in the sun right now, as I think of it. Wish I’d kept it instead of selling it years later to get a 10-speed racer (stupid kid!)
