Traffic signs are not just suggestions.

My son says the stop signs with white borders are optional.

Around here, it appears to be true.

Read on at your own risk.

If they are placed on private property by the property owner they are advisory/optional. Only governmental signs on public property are mandatory.

“Sign this traffic ticket… if you prefer staying out of jail…”

“The government should do something about all those homeless people living on the streets and in the alleys. It’s a disgrace! But don’t tax me!”
