Sir Dudley’s response to Boody reminds us to look back at the “previous three panels” in our own lives and think about all that we should be thankful for.
Thank you, Justin, and all the “Mythticklers”*
*(That means all the delightful characters in the strip and all the delightful characters that post comments)
Thankfulness is a quality I have been working on the last few years. As I understand it, we are even supposed to learn to be grateful for the challenges we are given. To be honest, I’m not dealing with that part well. If I had no arms or hands, I would probably be a LOT more grouchy than Sir Dudley. Happy Thanksgiving, all!
Matt 1075,
I love you.
I don’t actually know you but you are a reader of this comic and have felt compelled to post here and therefore you share my sensitivities and point of view in some way. You choose to care enough about this strip (which is a peek into my own feelings and sensitivities) to share yourself with it here and therefore I have some kind of kinship with you. So from me and all of us mythical beings at MythTickle, I hope you have special and memorable moments of Thanksgiving on this great, great, day of reflection and affirmation.
Cheers, buddy.
Hi Justin. Yes, I feel a kinship with you also. It appears we have a similar philosophical base. You have reached out through your strip many times and touched me deeply. Thank you so much for being who you are and doing what you do. I hope you and those close to you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Gosh, Sir Dudley–just go back and take a look at the first three panels! And change from that red flag to a Smiley-face one!

So, what does a gray flag mean, Dudley? Non-plused?
I’ll bet Boody’s thankful for his wings :)

uh-oh, what did Boody do with the rest of the pilgrim father? They don’t give up their hats and belts without a fight…

It’s not, ‘what’ you have to be thankful for laddie, it’s who.

How does he use a cellphone without any arms for that matter?

I would be thankful that none of my enemies have can openers.
