    Morning, Village!

Well, I’ll be mowing the grass later this morning. Gotta get it done before it starts raining. And wife and I are busy cleaning house, getting it ready for her Bunko party next Monday. I’m hoping to find a lodge meeting or something I can go to so I won’t be here then. Well, you can see how boring my life is.

    Hay Vagabonds

Happy Star Wars Day. May the 4th be with you. :-)

The clouds are hanging low today, can’t even see the top of the ridge across the valley.

May go to Newport today, and that’s about as exciting as it’s going to get.

    May your day be bless.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Mark, sometimes I wonder if George Lucas anticipated Star Wars Day. May the Fourth be With You indeed.

We got a clean bill of health on the Toyota. They rotated the tires and checked all the fluid levels, but they did not change the oil. The service writer told us that the car only needs it at 10,000 miles. That seems so odd to me. Wouldn’t the oil be just sludge after that many miles? Perhaps its the synthetics they use these days.

We set up the screen tent yesterday. It is nice to be able to sit outside without having the bugs eat me alive. Right now I am covered with bites all over my arms and legs. I keep a tube of hydrocortizone cream with me at all times.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

Good Star Wars Day morning, Vagabonds,

I can’t believe it’s been 51 years!!!! Jack and I went to see Star Wars for our anniversary down at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater on Hollywood Blvd. When it was finally released to local theaters, we took the kids. Then, we went frequently to the drive in to see it. And, when it was released on VHS tape years later, we rented a tape player and the movie, and watched it over and over again. Sigh! They don’t make movies like that anymore!

Jan, no worries about the new cars’ systems. Our Pilot supposedly can go much longer, but the dealer recommends 7500 miles. Our last one needed an oil change every 3000 miles. So far, so good.

    xoxo Happy Star Wars Trails.

I see the force is strong here!

I think this was the second VHS movie we purchased. The first being Forbidden Planet. ;))
