Still think this narrative is (insert favorite explicative) and Marcy would have gone for the money.

NOW she realizes how much money she turned down.

Marcy is like my wife. When we were first married, I used to urge her to go for an M.D. But she always said that then she would not have time for patients, which was the part of the job she loved. Just like Marcy. So as far as I am concerned, Robb has nailed it.

And think about it. If you are in a bad way, health wise, which of those two people do you want taking care of you? The one who now has unrealistic expectations about money, or the one who cares about directly helping patients?

Thanks, Robb, and ignore the comments from the fools.

I could have gone for more money. A LOT more money. But I have “enough” and the choice I made was right for me. I think the same is true of Marcy.

The Cobbs live in Philly, at least they could go to a real Italian restaurant.

I still think she made a mistake by not taking it. Oh well. Maybe one day another opportunity more to her liking but also with a raise will present itself.
