There is an assisted living app’t. house in Burlington thats having the same issues, but our winter makes getting out to smoke a bear, and they (powers that be) won’t build the residents a smoking shelter.

I am not, nor have I ever been a smoker. (disclaimer) \\//_

    I’m guessing Burlington, VT?

More smoking makes for more turn over in the asst living places. You’d think they’d build the shelter with a covered walkway out to it.

    Yes I am.

I started going away from non-smokers to smoke long before it was law. My half-brother-in-law is extremely allergic to tobacco smoke and two other relatives have crippling asthma. This realloy showed me what damage even passing by someone while smoking could do.

For over 40 years I’ve enjoyed my daily cigar and like magnamax said, I usually smoke away from others. I found it was hard to enjoy my cigar while having to put up with those young smoke-nazi’s who hug trees and forego deodorant. But, magnamax, I’ve gotta ask: How do you have a “half-brother-in-law”? Sounds like a half-brother who married a sister or something.

Ahh, Burlington. Love it in the fall. And postcard beautiful in the winter.
