Shhhh, the government doesn’t want anybody to know that. The government is too interested in complete control of the public, especially the younger kids. If the kids aren’t told anything logical, they will soon be completely conditioned to believe anything they are told.
When did we forget how to fight back, to take a stand against bullies instead of hiding. Granted with a gun pointing at you we are defenceless but still I can’t help but wonder. What can we do besides hide? The one wielding the weapon is he a bully or a coward?
We are allowed the choice of either running for safety, even off campus, and/or blocking all entrance to our room, and/or defending ourselves in any way we and our students can. If you look around most classrooms, you would be amazed at just how many things can be turned into a way to defend yourself. We are even allowed to suggest ways students can “arm” themselves. The drills are so that students don’t panic and can make the best choice for survival.

Also you would expect the schools to have panick rooms build for those cases, instead of them running to a closet.

That’s easy. Only allow a student with an assault rifle into a school he doesn’t attend so he won’t know the active shooter drill for that school.
