Hey, they don’t name THEMSELVES “Mittens”; it’s their human dupes who do that. Boomer is expressing a deeper truth.
“They say the Devil hath power to assume a pleasing shape.” Outside, cats are sleek and fluffy. Inside, they’re soulless killers who wouldn’t think twice about biting through your neck if they were big enough to manage it.
