I kinda like leaving the dailies black and white with color being reserved for something special.

Wait, if Sedine was so close to Roy’s mom, spent so much time with her, and she was trying to help her win Roy’s best friend, how was it that Roy never came up in conversation and Sedine didn’t learn about him having a wife and daughter?

And Sedine when you get older Roy’s mom will show you how to defy gravity. It’s the only way I can explain panel#1 for a woman her age! XD

In the last panel from a distance, Sedine looks like Alexandria, the bossy and vain character from Josie & The Pussycats (both the comic book and the animated TV series)

So Roy’s Dad has huge eyebrows? If he doesn’t then Roy’s a special kind of person.

Looks like Roy’s Mom used some real magic. In the last panel Sedine is taller than Sam.

His eye’s lit up, that could be good, or bad, depending on his next knee jerk reaction. The transformation is remarkable though.

Sedine is now promoted from ‘what’ (Apr.5, ‘What is this thing?’) to ‘who’. Lookin’ good! :D

Remember that point about Sam signing his first name in CAPS? Well, it just occurred to me that it makes perfect sense, even without extensive psychoanalysis… ;p

Because ‘Sam’ is usually Samuel, and handwriting can be hard to read for many people. So it would have happened a lot to Sam that people would read as far as S-a-m, and go right off from there, just assuming that his name was Samuel… so he may have developed the easier-to-read caps writing habit just to improve that situation.

I’d say that Sedine’s girly-girl makeover is a complete success. I know I’d be kicked in the butt by love if she knocked on my door looking like that. [BTW, Roy’s mom kinda looks like Peggy Bundy, not that that’s a bad thing mind you.]

@ Bea R. and @ Vilyehm – Okay, here’s an idea for the Lumbercats cast…

Sedine as Cheetoh; Sam as Tyger; Roy as Lyon-O (because he started out as a child in a man’s body); Hubbs as Panthor (his truck would make for a great Lumbertank); Charlene as Puma-la; Michaela and Gabby as the Lumberkittens; Ow as Snarf.

I thought about making Ellie as Puma-la, but Panthor needs to have a cool head about him, especially when driving the Lumbertank.

The final decision is Bea’s, of course, but please tell me what you think…

Just noticed that Sedine’s dress is actually a dirndl! I wonder if that was deliberate on Frau Bea’s part… Ist sehr schön! ;-)
