Actually she’s got that backwards. You should always use cloth to clean a pair of glasses. Paper is made up of cellulose (wood) which does not break down completely. Even the softest of paper tissues will eventually scratch the lenses, just like they make one’s nose red from constant “blowing”.
Ya gotta check out the latest in glasses cleaners. They’re called Peeps. AARP recommended them as one of the best new gadgets this year to get. I tried it and couldn’t believe how clean my glasses got. Not wipes involved.
