I always suspected patricide wasn’t beyond Calvin.

From now on, that’s gonna be my plan whenever I confess a mistake to my mom.

I think this is minor compared to the time he backed the car into a ditch.

This has to be up there with the noodle incident’

meanwhile, dad has a 2nd pair and gave calvin the bad pair knowing this would happen.

Sit and cry in front of the door about the time dad comes home. Have the binoculars in your lap as if you’ve been trying to fix them. Tell dad through your tears that you broke them and your life is over because you can’t fix them. Perhaps he’ll have sympathy. Perhaps not. Have a plan b.

Panel 2 is great “blame the victim” logic. Sadly, all of it is pure Calvin.

Maybe Calvin could wander over to the trailer park and hang out with Agnes.

Time to fess up Calvin, I’m sure Dad will forgive you… some day.

Responsibility aside, what WAS Dad thinking?

My family probably won’t give me a heart attack but my borderline hypertension now requires medication. It doesn’t help that I get a little too intense and am very hard on myself.
