I heard of an incident at work where someone who is not my boss said, “I’m a (Elevated position here), do what I tell you.” I sent an IM to my boss and said, “FYI, if someone ever said that to me my reply would include profanity, or as close to it as I can freakin’ get.”

Metronomes don’t cue the different parts of the choir. They don’t indicate when to get louder or quieter.
