I am not sure if it is because I have an outside cat that catches mice and rats, but my yard seems to have less ticks than others by a lot. He gets about 8-10 a year, I’ve only gotten one over the years. I found mine before it “anchored”. Many of his I find while they are still moving and the Frontline kills the ones that “anchor”. Friends who live a mile away get covered in them some years.
